On Saturday, October 11, 2008, the Monona County Democrats held at Meet and Greet for candidates in the Onawa Public Library's park. Attendees enjoyed hot dogs and brats while visiting with candidates Rob Hubler, Jan Creasman, Jeff Pratt, Brooke Kuhlmann and Joyce Lee-Hanneman. After the Meet and Greet, local candidates attended a Candidate Forum at the library sponsored by the Onawa Chamber of Commerce.
