Fall Rally 2005

The Monona County Democratic Party held their annual Fall Rally and Fundraiser Auction on Saturday, Sept. 24, at the Lewis & Clark State Park Shelterhouse in Onawa, Iowa, and enjoyed a day filled with great camaraderie and a fun-filled auction.

Many thanks go out to Richard and Petrina Merritt, who donated, cooked and served the delicious smoked pork chops and also provided the scalloped potatoes, coleslaw, rolls, dishes, coffee and beverages and even dessert. Our success is due largely to their generous contributions and continued support for the Democratic Party.

Thanks also go to auctioneer Mike Alkire and all the individuals who contributed their items, time, and home baked goods to this worthy annual fundraiser.
